Player Getting Started Guide

Follow this quick walkthrough to mint your first ROBINDUDES NFT, activate your Token Bound Account, select your starter ability, and begin virtual trading in the weekly league.

Step 1: Connect Your EVM Wallet

ROBINDUDES operates on Ethereum-compatible networks (currently deployed on Sepolia Testnet).

• Launch the Web App and click CONNECT WALLET in the top navigation bar.
• Supported wallets include MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, and WalletConnect v2 providers.
• Ensure your wallet is connected to Sepolia Testnet (Chain ID: 11155111) with a small amount of testnet Sepolia ETH to cover gas for minting and claiming transactions.

Step 2: Mint Your ROBINDUDES NFT

Your NFT is your competitive identity in the league.

1. Navigate to the /mint page on the web application.
2. Review the available supply cap and click MINT DUDE.
3. Upon confirmation, your NFT is assigned an on-chain Rarity Tier (Common, Rare, Epic, or Legendary) determined at mint time.

Note on Account Creation: Minting is intentionally lightweight. The GameNFT contract does not deploy a TBA during minting, keeping gas costs minimal. Your Token Bound Account address is deterministically precomputed (counterfactual) immediately.

Step 3: Claim Your Free Starter Skill

Freshly minted NFTs start with unassigned skill slots. Every player can choose one free starter skill at Level 1 immediately after minting:

1. Navigate to /my-dudes and select your newly minted NFT.
2. Click CLAIM STARTER SKILL.
3. Select one ability from the catalog:
   • Signal Layer: Displays institutional smart money flow analytics on watched stocks/crypto.
   • Capital Boost: Adds +10% extra virtual USDC trading capital.
   • Slippage Shield: Reduces simulated trading slippage and order fees.
   • Second Wind: Grants 1 free tier-switch per week if market conditions shift.
4. Submit the SkillRegistry.claimStarterSkill(tokenId, skillId) transaction. Your chosen skill will be activated on-chain at Level 1.

Step 4: Explore Your Token Bound Account (TBA)

Each NFT owns its own on-chain smart wallet (ERC-6551 implementation: GameAccount).

• In /my-dudes/[id], you will see your NFT's unique TBA Address.
• The TBA acts as a digital backpack that can hold achievement trophies, winner badges (ERC-721 / ERC-1155), and custom on-chain items.
• You can deploy the TBA on-chain at any time with one click or let it remain counterfactual until needed.

Step 5: Enter the Weekly Competition

Competitions run on strict weekly cycles. Before trading commences, register your NFT for the current week:

1. Go to /competition to view the active epoch countdown and open brackets.
2. Choose your entry tier:
   • Tier 0 (Free): Zero entry stake required. Compete for the ultimate prize: a permanent +1 on-chain skill level-up.
   • Paid Tiers (Tier 1, 2, 3): Stake a fixed amount of $DUDES tokens. Compete for both the +1 skill level-up and a share of the 40/30/20 $DUDES prize pool pot.
3. Sign the PrizePool.enterCompetition(weekId, tokenId, tier) transaction.

Step 6: Execute Virtual Trades

Once entered, your NFT is credited with starting virtual trading capital (VUSD) in the VirtualLedger:

• Access the Trading Terminal in the web app.
• Choose from supported real-world assets (crypto pairs and synthetic equities).
• Place Instantaneous Market Orders (BUY/Long or SELL/Short).
• Adjust leverage between 1x and 3x depending on your risk appetite.
• If your NFT has the Signal Layer skill, monitor the Smart Flow Radar widget to see live institutional accumulation signals.
• Risk Warning: Keep your portfolio equity above the 25% Maintenance Margin threshold to prevent liquidation.

Step 7: Epoch Close, Settlement & Claiming Rewards

When the epoch timer expires:

1. The backend snapshots all portfolios and executes a multi-sample moving average valuation to determine final standings.
2. The Settlement Keeper submits the verified rankings and cryptographic audit root on-chain.
3. Champion Level-Up: The 1st place winner in each tier can call WeeklySettlement.claimSkillReward(weekId, tier, skillId) to level up any skill of their choice (or unlock a new skill at Level 1).
4. $DUDES Payouts: The top 3 finishers in paid tiers receive automated disbursements of $DUDES tokens from the PrizePool contract.
